I am an Ayurvedic Doctor or, as some people call it, an Ayurvedic Physician residing in India but working for a global clientele. I have been in healthcare for more than 6 years. I hold a Diploma in Health Care Management and a Certificate in Food and Nutrition.
Beside Ayurveda, I have passion about computers and its applications. Being a mouse-potato, I keep on learning about how internet is becoming an integral part of our life and how several software in medical field has changed the way of medical management, diagnoses and treatment.
I am PG Diploma in Medical Informatics or Health care Informatics, as some say. I am being taught with several computer languages such as HTML, XML, JAVA, C# etc. I do have acquaintance with ORACLE (SQL) and .net. During my academic course, I am being taught about various medical standards such as HL7, DICOM, ICD, SNOMED etc. I personally believe that involving a doctor as Medical Informatics Functional Consultant or Healthcare Informatics Consultant would come with better software products for any medical field. The blunders I observe in Health care software can be reduced and software would really work in favor of patient rather than deteriorating her/is condition.
In my past career, I have served as a Clinician, a Residential Medical Officer, a General Health Center Administrator and an Ayurveda Doctor. Despite my grounding in traditional medicine, I am also quite well-acquainted with modern medicines. I am the go-to person for information on Yoga, Pranayama, Acupressure and Meditation. I can also set up an Ayurvedic or Modern Diet as per the health situation of a person. Besides, I am also a freelance writer and have produced many frank and unfeigned articles on various subjects. However, my special forte is medical and healthcare.
