1. Ayurveda suggests of taking milk in acidity. However, in hyperacidity and cases of ulceration, it is to be avoided.
2. Gulakand (Ayurvedic medicine) made up of rose petals is one of the most trustable home remedies for acidity.
3. Eating a banana daily is common practice to tackle acidity. It is very common natural remedy for acidity.
4. Another good home remedy for acidity is having a piece of Jaggery (gur). Take it and keep it in the mouth and slowly suck. It reduces acidity.
5. One of the best home remedies for acidity is coconut water. You can have it 4-4 times a day. It is an effective natural treatment for acidity.
6. Home remedy for acidity includes having a fine powder of ginger powder, hing (asafetida), black pepper, dried tulasi leaves, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, fennel and rocksalt taken equally. Have a teaspoon of this powder with water, two times a day after meals.
7. Sweet fruits like apple, watermelon and banana is good kitchen remedy for acidity.


Don’ts in Acidity:

1. Avoid fried foods, fermented food (pickles), hot and spicy food
2. Be regular taking your meals on time
3. Drink plenty of plain water
4. Avoid beverages like cola.

Home Remedies for Sunburn #1: Take precaution so that your sun does not get exposed to the sun.

Home Remedies for Sunburn #2:   You can avoid going out between hours where the sun is at its peak. 10:00 am and 3:00 pm are the hours when the UV rays are more intense.

Home Remedies for Sunburn #3:    If you got to go out during those hours, wear a hat, goggles that protect the eyes from Ultra Violate rays, and clothes made of light colored, light weight, tightly woven cotton.

Home Remedies for Sunburn #4:   You can also wear sunscreen that has sun protection factor ( SPF ) of 15 or higher. Application is made on the skin  whenever you plan going out or ride, also applying it to all exposed areas before getting under the sun, repeating the procedure as much as possible, especially if you swim or perspire is preferred. However, you got to be sure that you purchase sunscreen that protect against both UVA and UVB rays.

PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) is the condition where multiple cyst formation occurs in the ovaries. PCOS is characterized by irregular menstrual cycle, excessive facial and body hair growth and. weight gain. An adult female suffering from PCOS may have problem in conceiving the child and it is one of the major reasons for infertility in women. Polycystic ovarian syndrome is also known as Stein- Leventhal Syndrome.

 

PCOS is mainly a lifestyle related disorder and thus can be improved by taking balanced diet and doing regular exercise.

 

HOME REMEDIES FOR PCOS

 

# it’s very important for a female suffering from PCOS to maintain the low waist size as their body is susceptible to store more fats due to the inability to metabolize carbohydrates. A kind of insulin resistance develops in a patient of PCOS.

 

# Foods that are low in glycemic index (low carbs) should be taken .For example: green leafy vegetables, pumpkin, Soya, mushroom, beans, apple, pear, plum, berries, apricot etc.

 

# High glycemic index foods ( high carbs) should be avoided as potato, peas, carrots, lentils, mango, banana, grapes, melons, corn, milk and its products, rice, Maida, Suzy etc

 

# Junk food should be avoided. High fiber diet should be taken
